Enjoying life before the accident. Josh was about 14-15 years old. He and his friends made their own bike jumps.

About Me

My photo
We have 5 children and 5 grandchildren with one on the way. Eric and I were married in 1984 and are still together today. We met in church and raised our kids in that same church, We are still very involved at this same church. God has been there for us through many ups and downs in our family life. We have struggled with children with ADD, hyperactivity, strong wills, addictions, and one that became paralyzed at the age of 15 due to a car-pedestrian accident...he was the pedestrian. Eric and I have had to work through relationship issues (as do most couples), job loss, and financial problems. Even though we are believers, that doesn't mean we will never have problems. We just know that God is there for us through these struggles. There has been a lot of growth through these times.

More Therapy Videos

Josh is walking with both leg braces unlocked at the knee. He just
started doing this about a week ago. This is GREAT progress for him.

See Josh up close as he walks with both leg braces unlocked at the knee.

Josh working his leg muscles while doing "stand-ups". I think the
arms are getting quite a workout too. Buff!

More leg-muscle work in the gym.

To Mum:

You must be so damn proud of what Josh has been acheiving. I hope he'll keep up the good work!
He's a strong man - and I wish I had a bit of his strenght in me!

Big hugs!

Sue,
This is the first time I have checked out your webpage. How awesome. I can not explain the feeling I have seeing Josh standing and walking in those videos. I have been praying for Josh since that first phone call, and I check with you and Josh but this site trully tells the story. Thank you and I am glad I choose to look.
Josh, you have always been special to me and it excites me to see how God is working, I have always know that he has plans for you and that you have so much to give to him - to see how things are working is awesome. We do have a great and loving heavenly father we do not always understand but we always know he is in control. I will continue to pray for you and I will check back to see how things are going. Love you Barb Yost
